Where "check first" came from
A long-time hotel customer called in for a cleaning. The information on file was wrong, so the office booked a huge job for a small price, late in the afternoon. With the right information at the start, the crew would have finished on time, for the right amount of money.
Most bad jobs start the same way: the wrong name, address or phone number, a decision maker nobody talked to, a key nobody left, an expectation nobody set. Pre-Flight is the list of things to check before any of that happens.
